Astros ride Keuchel into the postseason

Dallas Keuchel continued his dominance over the New York Yankees with six more scoreless innings as the Astros beat the Yankees 3-0 for a wildcard birth into the 2015 ALDS Playoffs.  Both Colby Rasmus and Carlos Gomez scored home runs early and Jose Altuve had a run-scoring single in the seventh inning.

“We’re going to have to earn a lot more wins to get where we want to get, but this team is pretty special,” Astros manager A.J. Hinch said. “Let’s see what happens.”

Game one of ALDS begins tomorrow in Kansas City.  The Astros will start Collin McHugh (19-7, 3.89 ERA, 171 SO) and the Royals will start Yordano Ventura (13-8, 4.08 ERA, 156 SO).  Plenty of great seats and affordable tickets are still available so be sure to get yours today and get out and support your Houston Astros!
